Join us on July 22nd at 11am PT/ 2pm ET for a free web conversation with Kyler Hunter and EMERGENCY USA Executive Director Eric Talbert. Kyler Hunter is a perfusionist with international experience, including at EMERGENCY‘s Salam Center for Cardiac Surgery in Sudan. Together, they will discuss issues of health in Sudan and the role that EMERGENCY wishes to play in the future by continuing to provide free-of-charge, high quality medical care.
Kyler worked as a perfusionist in cardiac surgery in the U.S. for nine years before learning about EMERGENCY. Inspired by the mission and programs, Kyler resigned from his position in Atlanta and moved to Sudan to work for EMERGENCY at The Salam Center for Cardiac Surgery. While there, he was featured on 60 Minutes describing the role of the bypass machine and the nature of cardiac technology in North Africa.
