Ahmed came to our Ebola Treatment Center in Sierra Leone alone, at the end of September. After recognizing the symptoms, he immediately looked for a nearby treatment center in order to avoid infecting other people, so he drove himself to our center in Lakka.
Although his condition slowly improved over time, he remained in danger.
Ahmed is a pharmacist and became the darling of our hospital during his stay.
We wish him well!
The number of Ebola cases world wide has now exceeded 10,000. We must treasure every single one of these recoveries while the long and dangerous battle continues.
