Thousands have come to the Arbat refugee camp in Iraqi Kurdistan to escape the conflict that has enveloped the region. The camp has gone from housing 3,500 people to over 16,000. In response, we’re expanding one of our two health clinics in order to better serve the growing camp population.
We also run a clinic in Khanaqin and are currently setting up a fourth clinic in Tazade, in a camp managed by the local authorities that houses Iraqi IDPs.
