EMERGENCY Nurse Leaves Hospital in Rome Ebola-Free

imageLast month, Stefano, a nurse in Sardinia who recently returned from working at our Ebola Treatment Center in Sierra Leone tested positive for the disease and was transported to Lazzaro Spallanzani National Institute for Infectious Diseases in Rome, Italy. After close care, he was discharged on Wednesday completely Ebola-free!

“I’ve not had time to enjoy my family, but I would not exclude a return to the field. If EMERGENCY needs me, I’ll be there,” Stefano stated at a press conference.

Thank you, Stefano, and all of our international and local staff who take on the risks associated with fighting Ebola in Sierra Leone.

To help support our brave international and local staff at our Ebola Treatment Centers in Sierra Leone
